Personalised "Thank you" Old & Rare Scotch Whisky Gift Set
This set of five Old and Rare Scotch whiskies is personalised with 'Thank you' together with your own personal message to the special recipient to show your appreciation of them.
Each Scotch whisky has been selected from old oak casks across Scotland to give a range of whiskies with rich histories and interesting flavour styles which will appeal to any whisky drinker.
The hand finished gift box is beautifully presented and carries the special Thank You personal message to the recipient (see main image).
What’s inside this whisky gift set?
Each single malt whisky gift set comes presented in a beautiful hand-made box and includes:

Bottled at our facility in Scotland, each whisky comes in a generous 30ml measure (i.e. 150ml of single malt in total) per set. As such, it’s the perfect whisky tasting kit to conduct a tasting experience from home – with plenty of spirit to sample and savour.
2. Whisky tasting cards
In addition, a series of tasting cards is included in the small envelope within the gift box. These provide expert insight into the single malts in the whisky gift set, with facts about the distillery, whisky region, its flavour, cask type, strength and much more. Not only are these educational, they can be used to track down an original bottle and – presented in a special branded envelope – they’re a lovely keepsake. 3. Whisky tasting mat
Lastly, the set also includes a whisky tasting mat. This is the final touch, giving the whisky gift set a high-end and luxurious feel. The mat features an beautiful photograph of the Scottish landscape or distillery scene and is the perfect place to rest the single malts and make your personal notes.
How is the whisky set personalised?
"Thank you" is already printed on the outside of the gift set and your heartfelt message will be added to the front of the product. The message may contain up to 4 lines of text.
If sending direct to the recipient then a longer messages may be added as a 'gift note' by adding a note to the order at checkout. We never include prices with deliveries and so it is safe for you to send direct.
How long will it take to arrive?
Providing excellent customer service is important to us – here at Whisky Tasting Company. Which is why, we always strive to offer a quick turnaround on orders.
It doesn’t take long for us to put together and even if you personalise the gift box, we’ll get to work straight away and dispatch your order as soon as possible.
Delivery is typically made within 2-3 days (Monday – Saturday). But if you need your item urgently, it’s worth giving us a call. In some circumstances, we may be able to arrange a next day service.
It’s also worth pointing out that, unfortunately, we’re unable to schedule or delay our deliveries. If you’d like the recipient to open their set on a specific day, the best option is to add a note to your order during checkout. This will be printed and sent out with the order for the recipient to read.
What is single malt whisky?
Single malt is deemed the ‘original’ whisky of Scotland, although it can be made in any distillery across the world. Some people assume the word ‘single’ means that it comes from a single barrel or cask. But, in truth, it refers to the fact that it is produced in just one distillery.
The second word, ‘malt’, refers to the fact that it is made using malted barley. This barley can be sourced from anywhere and is responsible for giving single malts – including those in our single malt whisky gift set – a deliciously light and sweet flavour, such as caramel or toffee.

Douglas Laing's King of Scots aged 50 years (46% ABV): A rare 50 year old from Glasgow-based Douglas Laing & Co. who have been blending and bottling Scotch whisky for over 75 years. The family has a long-standing heritage of blending - a passion that has been passed down three generations and is deeply rooted in The King of Scots brand.
- Girvan Aged 32 Years (55.5% ABV): This venerable single-grain whisky is celebrated for its exceptionally smooth and refined character.
- Glen Grant Aged 27 Years (46% ABV): Matured in hand-selected oak casks, this offers a complex array of aromatics with a rich, mellow taste.

Jura aged 18 years (44% ABV): An incredibly rich and fruity old Scotch whisky from the inner-Hebridean islands of Jura, with flavours of cooked raspberries, warming spices, sweet caramel and crème anglaise.

Glen Scotia Victoriana (Cask Strength 54.2% ABV): This Campbeltown malt includes maritime and vanilla notes.
To make our gift sets extra special, we include a tasting card unique to each bottle. This delves further into its flavour profile and distillery information alongside a beautiful tasting mat to jot down thoughts provoked by each sip.
