DELIVERY TIMES AND FREE DELIVERY

WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING FREE STANDARD DELIVERY ON ALL ORDERS OVER £25 excluding Northern Ireland where a small charge applies

Delivery is to UK Only (Northern Ireland deliveries are limited to gift sets - subscriptions are not available here sorry).  We do not deliver outside the UK.

USUAL STANDARD DELIVERY (SHOWN AT CHECKOUT, USUALLY 1-3 DAYS - please check postcode areas below where delivery takes longer) £CURRENTLY FREE

EXPRESS DELIVERY - when available shown at checkout - next working day available in mainland England and Wales and below the Scottish central belt. For subscriptions only the first whisky set will be sent with DX Networks, the remainder will be sent using Evri.

We send parcels Monday, Wednesday & Friday and delivery days are Monday-Saturday.  Express deliveries are Mon-Fri excluding public holidays.

The estimated delivery date is shown during checkout, typically 1-3 days Monday-Saturday, but please allow a little extra for rural locations or islands and during bad weather.  Please allow allow a little extra time between late November and Christmas.

All deliveries are tracked and, upon despatch, you will be sent tracking details from the courier, Evri (Standard) or DX (Express), so that you can view live parcel details and interact directly with the courier for delivery to specify safe place or redirection options. 

If you request a divert to a local Parcelshop you must do this before the parcel is picked by the courier on the day of delivery.  Redirecting to a Parcelshop will usually add a day or so to the delivery date, and the parcel will be kept at the shop for up to 7 days.  We may charge for a return of the parcel if it is not collected in this time.

To dispute delivery you must let us know within 48 hours of the courier marking the parcel as delivered, after this time we are unable to take responsibility.  The courier will send an email once they have delivered the parcel and usually include a photo.


NOTES on Delivery:
Please follow tracking updates from Evri (or the designated courier if different) and set any personal preferences (safe place  / neighbour etc.) accordingly.  The parcel will show as being from 'W.T.C." (Whisky Tasting Company).

On the tracking you may:

  • Redirect to your nearest Parcelshop
  • Redirect to a designated neighbour
  • Redirect to a safe place at your property

The courier will make 3 delivery attempts before the parcel is returned to us - they will not leave a calling card.  The courier may leave your parcel in a safe place but it is best if you use the email tracking notifications to set your delivery preferences if you will not be in.  Delivery may be from 8am to 8pm and usually, but not always, a delivery time window will show on the day of delivery.

Areas which may take a little longer

The delivery date at checkout is based on standard delivery to most areas, however delivery to some areas may take longer so please allow longer when delivering to these areas.  Please also allow a few days extra for delivery to rural locations such as hamlets or farms.
