The set features five single malt whiskies from across Scotland's malt whisky regions, including one award-winning whisky from one of the country's exciting new distilleries. The whiskies are:

- Old Pulteney aged 12 years 40% (Highland)
- Finlaggan Islay Single Malt 40% (Islay)

Re-bottled at our facility in Scotland, each whisky comes in a generous 30ml measure (i.e. 150ml of single malt in total). As such, it’s the perfect whisky tasting kit to conduct a tasting experience from your own home – with plenty of spirit to sample each one and pick out your favourite.
2. Whisky tasting cards
In addition, you will receive a series of tasting cards. These provide expert insight into the single malts in the whisky tasting gift set, with facts about the distillery, whisky region, its flavour, cask type, strength and much more. Not only are these educational, they can be used to track down an original bottle and – presented in a special branded envelope – they’re a lovely keepsake.
3. Whisky tasting mat
Lastly, the set also includes a whisky tasting mat. This is the final touch, giving the whisky gift set a high-end and luxurious feel. The mat features an impressive photograph of the Scottish landscape and is the perfect place to rest the single malts and make your personal notes.

How can I order the single malt whisky gift set?

Start by selecting whether you would like your single malt whisky tasting set to be personalised. If you click ‘yes’, a space will appear on-screen for you to type a small message. This can be up to 4 lines long (16 characters per line), which is more than enough to say ‘Happy Birthday’ or ‘Congratulations!’ or ‘Love you’ etc.
For any other type of customisation, you will need to contact us directly. We can’t guarantee it, but we’ll always try out best to accommodate your specific wishes.
Once you’re happy with the personalisation, simply click ‘add to cart’ and proceed to checkout. You’ll then be asked to pop in a few details, including the delivery address (whether that be yours or the intended recipient’s) and pay using our secure and confidential online system.

How long will it take to arrive?
Providing excellent customer service is important to us – here at Whisky Tasting Company. Which is why, we always strive to offer a quick turnaround on orders.
The single malt whisky set doesn’t take long for us to put together. And even if you choose to personalise the gift box, we’ll get to work straight away and dispatch your order as soon as possible.
Delivery is typically made within 2-3 days (Monday – Saturday). But if you need your item urgently, it’s worth giving us a call. In some circumstances, we may be able to arrange a next day service.
It’s also worth pointing out that, unfortunately, we’re unable to schedule or delay our deliveries. If you’d like the recipient to open their set on a specific day, the best option is to add a note to your order during checkout. This will be printed and sent out with the order for the recipient to read.

What is single malt whisky?
Single malt is deemed the ‘original’ whisky of Scotland, although it can be made in any distillery across the world. Some people assume the word ‘single’ means that it comes from a single barrel or cask. But, in truth, it refers to the fact that it is produced in just one distillery.
The second word, ‘malt’, refers to the fact that it is made using malted barley. This barley can be sourced from anywhere and is responsible for giving single malts – including those in our single malt whisky gift set – a deliciously light and sweet flavour, such as caramel or toffee.
