Father of the Groom Old and Rare Scotch Whisky GIft Set

Our Old and Rare Scotch whisky gift set is a curation of some of Scotland's oldest, limited edition whiskies up to 50 years old and from some of Scotland's long-lost distilleries.

Indulge in the rich heritage and exquisite flavours of our 30ml bottles of whisky. Each bottle offers its own distinct tasting experience, a testament to the diverse and fascinating history of Scotch whisky.

This collection includes:

• Invergordon aged 50 years (46.3% ABV): A rare 50 year old from the sole grain distillery in the Highlands of Scotland, matured in just a single oak cask for over five decades.  This perfectly matured Scotch whisky has aromas of fresh vanilla pods, toasted coconut, honeycomb, and gentle oak.  The palate provides baked apple, tropical fruits, crème brûlée, orchard fruit, and warming spices, followed by a long and lingering sweet oak, buttery pastry, citrus peel, and soft caramel finish.  A special whisky for a special occasion.
  
• Cragganmore aged 27 years (53% ABV): A rare single cask from Cragganmore, the distillery selected as the Speyside representative by Diageo as part of their Classic Malts series.  Cragganmore is one of the most complex and muitil-layered Speyside whiskies in Scotland, and this superb example is has been matured in just a single oak cask for over 27 years.
• Port Dundas aged 35 years (45% ABV): Port Dundas is one of Scotland's long-lost or 'ghost' distilleries that sadly closed for commercial reasons in 2011 after 200 years of operation.  This very old and rare example, drawn from just a single oak cask, provides a special opportunity to reflect on and appreciate some of Scotland's lost whisky making.
• Speyburn aged 18 years (40% ABV): matured in American and Spanish oak casks, offering a complex profile of rich toffee, toasted nuts and tropical fruits with a gentle, smoky finish. It is highly regarded for its balance of sweet, creamy notes, subtle oak spice, and a slightly bitter, cocoa-like edge.
• Glen Scotia Victoriana (Cask Strength 54.2% ABV): This Campbeltown malt is selected from the distillery's older 'reserve' casks and is renowned for a rich and complex profile that has been  finished in heavily charred oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry butts.
