Overview

Our oldest & rarest whisky subscription provides a unique opportunity to sample old & rare, limited editions, single-cask and cask-strength whiskies.  Delivered to your door, we send 4 sets throughout the year in a hand-finished whisky gift box (every 3 months); the first set contains 5 premium, old and rare varieties, complete with individual tasting cards and a whisky tasting mat - the perfect place to arrange your whisky tasting and to record your own personal notes.  The remaining three whisky sets contain premium whiskies as supplied in our Silver whisky subscription, these  typically contain malts up to 18 years old, cask strength Scotch whisky and limited editions plus varieties from single casks.

The whiskies are typically Scottish single malt and single grain whiskies plus the occasional world whisky or artisan blend.

The first tasting set is beautifully presented in a luxury hand finished gift box, and the price includes personalisation of your first whisky set (see image).

The 1st whisky set contains the following, or similar, whiskies:

• Douglas Laing's King of Scots aged 50 years (46% ABV): A rare 50 year old from Glasgow-based Douglas Laing & Co. who have been blending and bottling Scotch whisky for over 75 years.  The family has a long-standing heritage of blending - a passion that has been passed down three generations and is deeply rooted in The King of Scots brand.
  
• Girvan Aged 32 Years (55.5% ABV): This venerable single-grain whisky is celebrated for its exceptionally smooth and refined character.
• Glen Grant Aged 27 Years (46% ABV): Matured in hand-selected oak casks, this offers a complex array of aromatics with a rich, mellow taste.
• Balblair aged 18 years (46% ABV): An exceptional single malt from one of Scotland's oldest distilleries, founded in 1790.  Balblair distillery sits in a beautiful spot on the Dornoch Firth in the North West of Scotland.
  
• Glen Scotia Victoriana (Cask Strength 54.2% ABV): This Campbeltown malt includes maritime and vanilla notes.

Delivery arrangements for 1st whisky set

You can choose to send all the whisky sets direct to the lucky recipient, or you can receive the first one yourself so you can present it in person.

Our whisky gift subscription is the perfect way to explore the world of whisky, with varieties from Scotland, Ireland, Wales and around the world.  A small handmade envelope keeps the individual whisky cards together as a special keepsake and for future reference.

Our whisky gift subscription is a one-off price for the whole year - there are no extras and no tie-ins.

Individual bottles contain 30ml, and are the highest quality clear glass.
