Pronounced ‘BenRINnes’, the distillery takes its name from a dominating mountain above. Established in 1826, the distillery was washed away in floods just 3 years later. Soon rebuilt, the distillery still stands today!
This limited edition was drawn from just a single oak cask, aged for 19 years from 1997 and bottled at the golden strength of 50%.
TASTING NOTES: Nose: Cinder toffee, stewed apples and butterscotch. Palate: Icing sugar, fudge and bitter almonds. Finish: Dry and lasting with an oaky aftertaste.
